Dedan Kimathi University of Technology offers Master of Science, Bachelor of Science, Diploma and Certificate in Leather Technology which deals with the conversion of hides and skins to leather so that it can be put into different use.
Students also learn how to produce exotic leather and its efficient use to make commercial goods. The students learn the design, fabrication and testing of leather goods and leather footwear. It is gaining importance in industrial sector hence making it a very marketable course.
