Further the ministry s pivotal in the value- addition and access to credit, regional and international markets for food security, poverty alleviation and socio-economic development, the operation areas is animal resources and sector.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry has various functions and duties including formulation of legislation, regulations, policies and standards for the development of the animal and fisheries resources of Southern Sudan. It also provides\u00a0policy guidance and monitor performance,\u00a0identify and promote investment opportunities in livestock and fisheries in Southern Sudan.
