Tanzania – Freddy Kabala

Freddy Silvester Kabala is Executive Secretary of Leather Association of Tanzania (LAT). He is environmental Scientist holding a BSc. in zoology and Botany from the Open University of Tanzania and MSc. in Integrated Environmental Management from the University of Dar es Salaam.

Kabala has professional experience of more than 20 years in agriculture and livestock production and thirteen years in Environmental Conservation, Climate change, environmental protection, utilization of natural resource, environmental Impact Assessment and SME’s.

Kabala has also worked for Private sector bodies, Non-Governmental Organizations and internationally funded projects. Some of these organizations and projects include the Madunga Vetagro Centre, Private Forestry Programme, the United Nations Industry Development Organization (UNIDO)  and the Leather Association of Tanzania.
